I said in a previous post that I hate Halloween. Let me say it again; I hate Halloween.
What's with all the 16 + year olds out trick or treating? Seriously? And then you add the parents that stick out their bag to have candy put in it. I even had one mom tell me the bag was for her baby, who was in the stroller in a car seat she was so little. Yeah. Like that baby was going to eat any of that candy.
And don't even get me started on the costumes! I took Alex a few weeks ago to a Halloween costume store to try to find a Transformer costume in his size. I didn't realize those stores are actually lingerie and sex toy stores in disguise! They had an entire wall with nothing but panties displayed - actually displayed out of their packages - so you could choose which skank style you would want to wear under the slutty costumes they were selling. And the men costumes? Let's just say Hugh Hefner would be proud, but I was embarrassed to be in the vicinity. And believe me, we got out of their pretty fast. And if the costumes weren't disgustingly sexual, they were gory, scary and satanic.
I've never liked Halloween but it's official; I HATEHALLOWEEN!!!

Alex's birth father and family!
In July 2008 we had the opportunity to meet Alex's birth father (Daddy Ernie) and his beautiful family; Ashley, Co, S and Na. We had a great time at McDonald's (Alex's favorite eatery) then went to Coldstone for ice cream. It was so nice to meet Ernie for the first time. Since then they have traveled from afar to spend time with Alex. They also have added another sister to Alex's geneology; Sh. We are so blessed to have them in our family!!
